The stigma affecting those of us who suffer from mental health related challenges is very real. This makes things infinitely worse. When we finally muster the courage to share our story, or ask for help, we are often met with skepticism and even outright derision. This does not have to happen. Mental health challenges are as real as any illness, and can have devastating impacts that extend beyond the individual to their families and communities.
I'll be logging as many trail miles as possible during the month of October and will be updating this page periodically. You can also follow me on AllTrails by going here: https://alltrails.com/en/membe
Please help me raise money for mental health awareness and research. The majority of your donation goes directly to helping improve the lives of those suffering. Part of your donation also goes toward trail conservation, as the the outdoors can have a profoundly positive impact. I urge you to donate whatever you can. Every little bit helps.
